Meriden School Readiness provides affordable, quality childcare slots for 3- and 4-year-old children living in Meriden. Programs provide children with a school readiness experience that can assure they will enter kindergarten ready to learn.

The Meriden Soup Kitchen, founded in 1983 in Meriden, CT, feeds the hungry. A complete nutritious meal is served from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm Monday-Friday throughout the year.
