eAccess Cards

We go beyond books! 

If you only wish to access our online resources (for download and streaming, language learning, resume help, etc.), sign up for an electronic access (eAccess) card. Only available to Meriden residents, ages 18 and over. 

Your eAccess card will be processed and activated in 1-2 business days. 

Your eAccess card will work for a period of 30 days. You must verify Meriden residency before the end of the 30 days or your eAccess card will expire.

Please note: This is for an eAccess card only. For a full access library card to take out physical materials, register for a card in-person at Visitor Services. 

  • I understand that within 30 days of my card being created, I must upload a copy of my photo ID showing Meriden residency to this application, or come into the library with ID showing Meriden residency, or send a copy of my photo ID with Meriden residency to: MPLCard@meridenct.gov
  • I understand that if I do not verify Meriden residency within 30 days, my eAccess card will expire and I will lose access to all eResouces such as Hoopla or Libby/Overdrive.
  • I verify that I do not already have a Meriden Public Library card and/or that I have not recently submitted a library card application.  (If you have submitted a library card application, filling out this form is not necessary.)

 

I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and that I reside at a legal Meriden address.
