eAccess Cards

We go beyond books! 

If you only wish to access our online resources (for download and streaming, language learning, resume help, etc.), sign up for an electronic access (eAccess) card. 

Only available to Meriden residents, ages 18 and over. 

Your eAccess card will be processed and activated in 1-2 business days. 

You must verify Meriden residency by uploading the following: 

  • One form of photo identification such as a driver’s license, CT non-driver ID, or passport listing Meriden residence;
  • Or a photo ID and one of the following: Meriden utility or tax bill; any mail item delivered to Meriden home address; mortgage or lease agreement; or CT motor vehicle registration. A Meriden post office box is not valid proof of residency. 

Please note: This is for an eAccess card only. For a full access library card to take out physical materials, register for a card in-person at Visitor Services. 

  • I understand that I must upload proof of Meriden residency to this application or send proof of Meriden residency to: MPLCard@meridenct.gov
  • I verify that I do not already have a Meriden Public Library card and/or that I have not recently submitted a library card application.  (If you have submitted a library card application, filling out this form is not necessary.)
