Closed for Memorial Day

The library will be closed on Monday, May 29th in observance of Memorial Day.  We will reopen on Tuesday, May 30th at 9:30am. 

Meriden Public Library will temporarily close after June 2nd.

The Meriden Public Library is moving back to our newly renovated building at 105 Miller Street to prepare for our grand opening on July 14th & 15th.

Our Meriden Mall location will close after business hours on June 2nd. We will reopen to the public at 105 Miller Street on July 14th with a grand celebration. We hope you can join us then!

Notary Service

The Meriden Public Library offers free notary services. Please call the Information Desk ahead of time at (203) 630-4622 to ensure the notary public is available or to make an appointment. 

 

The Meriden Public Library notary public does NOT notarize the following: 

  • Wills
  • End-of-life or advance directives documents
  • Medical Power of Attorney documents
  • Financial Power of Attorney documents
  • Estate Power of Attorney documents

 

The notary public will notarize select court documents. Notary services are free, but fees may be charged for any documents that need printing via our printing services.
