Event Details

Blackout poetry is created when you take a written piece of text from a book, newspaper, or magazine and redact words, in order to come up with your very own poetry! This can be done with a sharpie. The Meriden Public Library will provide the weeded books; you just have to rip out the pages you’re interested in working with. Join us on Valentine’s Day as we get inventive and create verse through redaction.
