CCALC - Lilian Harvey, Big Lesser Known Film Star

John Colaresiwill give a talk and show video clips about Lilian Harvey (1906-1968), who was one of the biggest movie stars during the 1930’s and performed in Germany, Hollywood, England, Italy and France.

She could act, sing and dance, and was fluent in German, English and French – all skills which made her a big international star in early sound musicals and comedies filmed in those languages.

Mr. Colaresi will show scenes from her best movies and give some background profile about her troubled life and career.
