Public Health: What Goes into a Health Inspection (Thursday, May 4)

Presenters: Lea Crown, Director, and Jennifer Henaire, Sanitarian, Meriden Dept. of Health and Human Services

The Meriden Department of Health and Human Services' Environmental Health office inspects food service establishments, barbershops, nail salons, beauty parlors, and public swimming pools, and handles nuisance complaints from Meriden residents. This presentation will explain how these are done and how corrective actions are taken. Please note: this will be a general overview and will not discuss any specific inspection done at a Meriden establishment.
