Come meet local children’s author Alexis Clarke and listen to a reading of her picture book AJ The Baby Lion before our Local author fair at 1pm today.
More about this author: Alexis Clarke of Meriden, CT is the creator of the website amothersvillagect.com, whose goal is, “to inspire young minds through the magic of storytelling.” Her first children’s book, A.J. The Baby Lion, was, “designed to show representation, engage, and educate, all while fostering a love for reading in every child.” Clarke describes the book as a story close to her heart because she wrote it, “as a way to navigate through the journey of motherhood.”
