Library closing at 5pm

The library will be closing early at 5pm on Tuesday March 3, 2026 due to inclement weather. Programs and services including VITA appointments are cancelled. 

No Internet

Due to a city wide network outage, the library does not have access to internet, printing, scanning, and faxing services. If checking out materials, please have library card present.

Event Details

Join Elizabeth DeMerchant of the Meriden Health Department on Thursday, November 2nd @11:00 AM - 12:00 PM for a FREE In-Person QPR Suicide Prevention Training. This training will be held in Multi-Purpose Room 6.

What You'll Learn:

  • How to recognize the warning signs of a suicide crisis.
  • How to question, persuade, and refer someone to help.

Participants will receive a certification as a QPR Gatekeeper upon completing the training.
