History, humor, costumes, props, original sound bites, stand-up piano-playing, radio commercials, impersonations and attitude serve to reveal the sound of rock ‘n’ roll through its first fifteen years. Meet the personalities and hear the songs that shaped the music of doo-wop, Motown, girl groups, surfin’, soul, novelty tunes and much more: Little Richard to Coasters, Chuck Berry to Beatles, Elvis to the Four Seasons.
