Event Details

Join us for a *LIVE* screening of the Virtual Author Talk: “How to Robot-Proof Your Kids (and Yourself)” with Dr. Vivienne Ming. This one-hour screening serves as a timely conversation on Artificial Intelligence (AI), humanity, and the next steps toward building a better future with self-proclaimed “mad scientist” Dr. Ming, who will discuss her new book, "Robot-Proof: When Machines Have All the Answers, Build Better People." In "Robot-Proof," Dr. Ming helps readers grasp the ugly and the amazing of how individuals, companies, and societies will respond to the changes that are already taking hold due to the advent of AI. "Robot-Proof" is a book about people, exploring what it means to be human in an increasingly automated world.

The screening will take place Tuesday, May 12th from 2-3pm in the Community Room (Meeting Rooms 1+2+3).
