Program Description
Event Details
Ellen Maust, music educator with 42 years experience, will instruct participants in the use of several percussion instruments and then lead the group through a series of percussion ensembles. The instruments will include congas, an agogo, hand drums, tambourines, maracas, and cabasas.
Following a brief introduction to each instrument, the group will be guided through percussion ensembles of increasing complexity. Members will rotate through a sequence of instruments so that each person will have a chance to use several if not all of the instruments.
