Join us for our Nutmeg Newts Book Club! The Nutmeg Newts Book Club is for children with a 4th through 6th grade reading level. This month we are reading Trex by Christyne Morrell.

Create your own version of a moon jellyfish to hang in your room. We will be using glow in the dark paint, ribbon and more to create these ethereal sea creatures.

Join the monthly Teen Advisory Board meeting to make sure your voice is heard! Share your ideas and opinions on how to improve your section of the library. Attendees will receive one hour of community service.

The Rainbow Roundtable is a LGBTQIA+ oriented club where we talk about what we are reading, watching and listening to that’s LGBTQIA+ related. This month we will be making pronoun buttons!
 

We learned what taxes were in September and this month we will be doing a refresher in addition to learning how to file your taxes.

Head on in to the teen room to create a pencil holder using jars, clay, yarn and more! Keep your desk uncluttered with your beautiful creation.

Did you forget it’s Valentine’s Day this weekend? Oh no! Head to the teen room to make a super cute paper rose bouquet that is sure to woo your crush or keep your relationship relationshipping. 

Y’all are stressed which stresses me out. So come to the teen room to make a stress ball during this month’s crafty critters.

Craft a piece of art at this fun event! Choose your frame, paper art, and paint to create a one-of-a-kind magnet. Children will mod podge a tiny art piece into a polymer clay frame and then paint the frame to finish the craft.

What’s Palentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year. Celebrate your friendships with cookies, friendship bracelets and cards.

Pull up a chair for this month’s teen circle with Girls Inc. Youth grades 7-12 are invited to come talk about speaking up for what matters, managing money, and building valuable life skills.

Join Mrs. Cafferty for step by step instruction to creating your own masterpiece! This session is for children between the ages of 5-8. Registration required.
