Growing Together is a fun and interactive parent and child workshop led by Meriden Early Start’s Parent Ambassadors. Families will enjoy hands-on activities that build meaningful connections, and support early learning.

Come to the library to paint your own colorful spring flowers using washable paint! For kids ages 1-5. Dress for a mess. Registration required. 

: Make a 3D tunnel book with us! Grab some paper, watercolor paints, and glue to make your own unique creation. Will it be cute, silly, spooky, or something unexpected? This program is for kids ages 7-11. Registration required.

Apples & oranges & pears, oh my! Head on over to the teen room to sculpt your own fruit themed buttons! 

This is a free, drop-in program for teens ages 12-18 and in grades 6-12. No registration required.

Join us for a monthly family craft night that is sure to be a grand time. This month's theme is Farm Animal Fun! Several craft stations will be available as well as fun themed music.

Come to the teen room for a quick drop-in program to craft your own personal bookmarks using old picture books.

Get creative and make some cute critters out of egg cartons and a variety of craft supplies. All ages welcome. Registration required.

Come color away your stress in a soothing atmosphere!

We will provide markers, colored pencils, coloring sheets, coloring books, and bookmarks.

Celebrate friendship with picture book friends, Frog and Toad! Make your own Frog and Toad puppets out of felt and glue at this fun event. Stay after to listen to a classic story featuring the iconic duo. We can't wait to see what you create.

Spring is here! Fly out of the library with the paper bag kite you create using dotters, streamers, paper bags, a popsicle stick, and string. This is a free, drop-in program for kids of all ages. No registration required.

Join professional cartoonist Bill Hernandez to learn to draw your very own pokemon. Will it be a water type, grass type or fire type? You decide!

Stop by the library to listen to Taylor Swift music while making friendship bracelets worthy of the eras tour.
