Join us in the Digital Media Lab as we learn to create beats in Ableton Live! In this program, we will learn to program drum patterns, bass grooves, and keyboard parts using Ableton Live.

Craft a piece of art at this fun event! Choose your frame, paper art, and paint to create a one-of-a-kind magnet. Children will mod podge a tiny art piece into a polymer clay frame and then paint the frame to finish the craft.

A story time for little musicians! Each story time we'll rotate through a new instrument or song prop- bells & tambourines, rhythm sticks, shaker eggs, scarves and more.

Buzz around and play with friends at different interactive stations after our morning storytimes. This program is intended for 0-5.

Your stuffed animal besties had a Valentine’s party at the library last night! Come to see what they’ve been up to and enjoy a fun storytime and activity. This program is best suited for children ages 2-7, with siblings welcome.

This engaging session takes participants on a journey through the lives of the 53 Africans, how their freedom was interrupted, and how Connecticut played a major role in the abolitionist movement.

Will your monster be cute or scary? Come to the library to make a fork-printed monster using paint, plastic forks, googly eyes and markers. For kids ages 2-5. Dress for a mess.

Do you love manga? Join the manga club to talk about your favorite manga, watch anime and meet like-minded folks. Attendees will get to check out any new manga additions before anyone else!
