What can I do? How do you participate in working democracy?

In this presentation, we will learn about the ins and outs of protesting, getting the attention of the media and your elected officials and generally making your voice heard.

The presenter will tell stories of resistance during the Holocaust, and will also discuss two recent genocides in Sudan, one ongoing and the other unresolved. 

Come to the teen room to snag a take & make kit to create a cute ghost out of old book pages.

This is a free, drop-in event. No registration required. 

Stop by the library to create a spooky portrait!

Participants will use egg cartons, paint, paper, markers, and glue to create a unique ghost all their own.

Aprons will be provided, but please come in clothes to get messy.

This club is for people who love classics, or who just want to try reading more of them. There will be a group book to read every month, as well as a viewing of the movie adaptation.
