Session 1: Understanding Dementia and Building Your Support Circle

In this session, families will learn the basics of dementia, including types and stages, and what to do after a diagnosis. Participants will explore how to build a strong care team and receive tools to begin their caregiving journey with confidence. Includes a bilingual handout and interactive “Care Circle” activity.

En esta sesión, las familias aprenderán los conceptos básicos sobre la demencia, incluyendo sus tipos y etapas, y qué hacer después de un diagnóstico.
