oin Miss Holly for some science fun! Each program will be hands-on, messy activities focused on different scientific topics. This month we are learning about how seeds germinate.

Pain happens to everyone. No one is exempt. Whether acute or chronic, join us and learn drug-free approaches to manage pain. 

Come listen to this month’s recently released music or music that it new to you! Teens are welcome to give suggestions but they must be library appropriate.

Do you love manga? Join the manga club to talk about your favorite manga, watch anime and meet like-minded folks. Attendees will get to check out any new manga additions before anyone else!

Join us for a sensory-friendly playtime where children and caregivers can interact with several stations of fun activities while socializing.

Stations include storytime, a craft, and interactive playtime.

Join us for a lecture on the music of the great composer Dimitri Shostakovich and his terrifying life during Stalin's "Great Terror". Dr. Rex will focus on his mighty Fifth Symphony.

Celebrate Earth Day by making a robot from a toilet paper tube, aluminum foil and leftover craft supplies!

This program is open to children and families of all ages. Registration required.

Head to the teen room to create your own adorable or creepy frog plushie! We will be using sewing techniques for this program.

Add a new decorative element to your house by joining us to create a rustic paper bag star.

Paint pens and stamps will be provided for personalization/embellishment of your star.

Come as you are to our sensory friendly showing of The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants (PG). We will lower the sound, have the subtitles on and keep the lights on.

Nearly a decade before Tom McCarthy was showered with awards for Spotlight, he wrote and directed a beautiful film in 2007 called The Visitor. The independent film stars Richard Jenkins, in a role that earned him his first Oscar nomination.

This club is for people who love classics, or who just want to try reading more of them. There will be a group book to read every month, as well as a viewing of the movie adaptation.

Using everyday materials like plastic bottles, rocks and coffee filters you will learn how to create clean water.
