After Picone restored native plants to an abandoned cornfield, uncommon species showed up: a striped bumblebee (bombus terricola) and an oil bee (macropis patelleta) not recorded in CT since 1918! Also, woodcocks, wild turkeys and several songbirds. Learn how you, too, can make a difference for wildlife in your surroundings.
